llink 2.2.2 available for the dns323

Update (oct 2, 09): Updated to llink 2.2.2 – let me know if there are issues!

It’s probably a good idea to remove all the old libs needed by older llink versions.

funpkg -r /ffp/var/packages/libdvdcss*
funpkg -r /ffp/var/packages/libdvdnav*
funpkg -r /ffp/var/packages/libdvdread*

P.S.  I don’t really use this anymore since the popcorn hour folks increased the SMB performance.  What do you guys use this with?

    5 MB performance? PCH cant (still) play from rar archive, can it? this is the case breaker for me with Lundman Link atleast. is there an alternative i’ve missed? If answering please mail, kind sir. Great resource for dns-323 btw!

    I use it as PCH (IStar) can only have 1 SMB share mounted. I have several NAS. With the llink, there is no SMB share mounting required and it works with jukebox software.

    I just check the install file, it contains ‘/ffp/bin/unrar’ so the package should be fine. I have never tested this though. Can you explain a little more with regards to what happens?

    Ahh, glad to see there are still some good uses for llink. I just wish llink would handle VIDEO_TS folders better (ie: just start playing the DVD, etc). I don’t want to hunt down the largest file and hope that is the correct one.

    I installed both packages and started llink, via llink.sh. But when i goto the hhtp://ip:8000/ I’m not getting any response. The page just keeps loading.

    Is there something I’m missing here?

    Hmm, I just tested by going here and it works perfectly:
    http://192.168.1.2:8000/

    make sure you didn’t fat finger something – other then that I’m not sure what the issue could be. Have you verified llink is actually running? Do you have a huge directory of media? in the llink.conf file you can try setting the root directory to something different.

    Let me know if you resolve it…
